At Xillio we continuously try to improve ourselves. Whether it is in the way we do agile, how we organize our tests, or how we automatically deploy our software to the cloud, we are always looking for ways that make us more productive, increase our quality or make it more fun.

As Java Developer you will be part of the very fun loving and talented development team at Xillio. We are working on an exciting, innovative product in the new product segment of content integration services. Our current technology stack consists primarily of Java (Spring) but also a lot of other small components in other languages. We have several Nodejs applications and even a testing tool using Golang. We take a serious look at new technologies when they arrive and believe in using the right tools for the job. At the moment we are deploying our main application automatically to AWS, using Jenkins and Terraform. However, none of this is set in stone.

As a team we examine our choices regularly to find if there are better ways (and tools and languages) to achieve our goals. The team has automation, experimentation, and freedom ingrained in its DNA. We are not a fan of repetitive tasks or procedures, so automation of builds, tests, releases, and documentation is very important to us. Oh, and did I tell you we have very frequent 'developer days' where we get to prototype our own new ideas?
