My name is Thomas Biesaart and I work at the development department of Xillio. At the end of 2015, I started at this company as a part-time employee and student in Computer Science and since then I've worked my way up to lead developer. Meanwhile, I quit my study and now work fulltime, because I noticed that I learned so much more here than in class.
A few months after I started working here, I received the opportunity to rebuild our software platform, Xill, completely from scratch. That's the beauty of working at Xillio. If you show what you can and that you are willing, then you get an incredible amount of freedom and responsibility.
Today, I protect Xill's vision and I develop standards which my colleague developers use to easily develop new features.
A bit strange
IT professionals are a bit strange and Xillio is no exception. But I thrive well here. It is cozy, there is a lot of flexibility and freedom. We are a small team but serve large, well-known organizations. So, you can say we're working on a fascinating product.
