Hilversum, Sept. 26, 2016 - Xillio, supplier of the Content ETL Platform, invites novice and experienced developers to a hackathon on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016. The goal of this hackathon is not so much to crack systems, but to develop innovative solutions to common problems in the ICT industry or other sectors. Additional implementation challenges will be added by the organization during the hackathon. The winning team (1 or more people) can use the resources within Xillio (office, ICT specialists, marketing) for 6 months to realize the started project.

Participants are completely free in their project proposals and development language and platform used. It is also possible, but not necessary, to use Xill, a scripting language developed by Xillio that is very easy to use and eliminates the use of extensive Java code. This scripting language comes along with the Integrated Development Environment (IDE), including debugger, extensive help and sample code.

The hackathon starts on Saturday morning, Oct. 8, at 9 a.m. at Xillio's headquarters in Hilversum. After the participating teams give a presentation on the application they came up with, the winner will be announced around 9 pm. Teams can consist of one or more people. Both novice and experienced developers can participate.
