About this role

You’ll be part of a Scrum team that continuously strives to improve on our products and delivery process. Experimentation, automation, and freedom are in our DNA. Automate builds, tests, releases, and documentation are important to us as we are not fans of repetitive tasks. Allowing your creativity and quality delivery skills to thrive. 

You will build, work and integrate with complex systems. Prototyping and proof-of-concept projects will also be part of your job. You will work on developing our own Xillio products which may include external system investigation and integration. 

What you’ll bring to be successful

• You will have a bachelor or a master degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant working experience
• You will have 4+ years of experience in NodeJS and/or Typescript 
• Understanding software design patterns and best practices
• Agile (scrum) software development experience 
• Familiar with writing tests (unit tests, integration tests, etc) 
• Knowledge and experience of DevOps (Docker, AWS, etc) 
• Experience with version control tools specifically Git and GitHub 
• You’re a fast learner with the ability to dive into other code and architecture  
• You are a person able to multitask and have effective written and oral communication skills 
• Knowledge of the content management and content migration domain is a pre 
• You have a healthy sense of business
• Fluent in English and based in The Netherlands

What will be your contribution?

• Define the architectural design of the product and new features together with the solution architect and product owner
• Improve existing features of the product and work on the back-end implementation of new features as we continue to scale and strive for product-market fit
• Ensure code quality and standards while meeting deadlines and delivering targets set by the product team
• Work closely with the product owner in preparing and approving the scope of work
• Coach team members
