Miktysh Announces Content & Data Migration Partnership with Xillio to Service the Australian Market
Today, Miktysh announces the formalization of a strategic partnership with Xillio to provide top tier content and data migration services to the Australian market. The partnership extends Xillio’s established market share in Europe and North America, firmly into the Australian market, whilst leveraging the vast experience both companies have with various content migration projects.
Many organizations have disparate file repositories or need to move organizational files from one platform to the next; a common example being the move from network drives to the cloud. This creates the need for a migration tool to safely, securely and accurately transfer files from one system or platform to the next, with a defensible audit trail and with the guarantee that no data gets lost in the process.
Xillio migration software and connectors enables the seamless flow of unstructured content from one platform to another across distributed repositories, making the migration manageable, efficient, secure, and future-proof. Named a ‘Cool Vendor in Content Services, 2017’ by Gartner, Xillio has carried out hundreds of data and content migrations since 2004, having migrated billions of files for government agencies around the world including major brands Willis, Siemens, Philips, Canon, Harvard and Lenovo.
Miktysh is a multi-award winning, Australian business who has been delivering information management solutions, such as content and data migration services, to public and private sector clients since 2008. Through the provision of strategic services and systems such as RecordPoint, SharePoint and Content Manager (formerly HP TRIM) Miktysh delivers high performing solutions that unlock business potential, improve operational efficiencies and drive legislative recordkeeping compliance. Xillio software will enable Miktysh to more easily and efficiently move clients’ organizational content between platforms.
Darren Gaunt, CEO of Miktysh comments:
“We are excited to become Xillio’s premier Australian partner. They have a fantastic product that will enrich our longstanding content and data migration services. Xillio’s tool will complement our records and information management service offerings and will play an important role in empowering our clients to easily, effectively and safely migrate their information, providing their teams with greater flexibility in the way they work.”
In reference to the new partnership, Sjoerd Alkema, Director of the Content Services Division at Xillio, stated: “Our partnership with Miktysh allows us to extend the reach of our migration services and solutions. Delivering world-class service requires consistency in migration activity. Miktysh has the right background, experienced consultants and vision to be able to guarantee each migration project will be successful. We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership for many years to come.”
